Born from a passion for authentic pizzana and a love for bringing people together, Pizzana has been handcrafting bold flavors and honest food since 2015.
Pizzana started with a single wood-fired oven, a handful of hand-picked ingredients, and an unwavering belief that great food changes everything. Our founder Marco Ruiz grew up watching his grandmother roll dough in a sun-drenched kitchen in Naples — that same warmth, craft, and care is baked into every pizza we make.
What began as a humble neighbourhood spot on Knox St has grown into one of Dallas's most beloved pizanna destinations, drawing regulars and first-timers alike with an ever-evolving menu that celebrates seasonal produce, traditional technique, and bold Texas spirit.

Marco Ruiz opens the original Pizzana on Knox St with a 12-seat dining room, a hand-imported Neapolitan oven, and six signature pizzas on the menu. The neighbourhood falls in love instantly.
Pizzana earns its first major recognition, named "Best New Pizzana Spot" by Dallas Magazine. Online orders launch, tripling weekly revenue and introducing the brand to all of DFW.
The Knox St location expands to 80 seats with a new patio. Chef Lucia joins the team, introducing seasonal tasting menus and our legendary pizanna-inspired desserts.
We launch same-day delivery across Dallas County, partnering with local charities to provide over 5,000 meals to families in need during the pandemic recovery period.
With overwhelming demand, Pizzana opens its franchise programme to bring authentic pizzana to cities across the United States. Three franchise locations are already in development.
Pizzana celebrates a milestone of 50,000 happy customers served, a 4.9-star rating across all platforms, and the introduction of our premium catering and events service.
